SOCAR denies agreeing to pay for Russian gas in rubles

BAKU, Apr 25 (PRIME) -- State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will not pay in rubles for the gas imported from Russia, the company said in a statement on Monday.

"The media have disseminated information today that the Azerbaijan Republic will pay the price of gas imported from Russia in rubles. This information does not correspond to reality," SOCAR said.
